Czech expands internet check-in options

Thursday 31/08/2017 - Source: Breaking Travel News

Starting in September, Czech Airlines will extend the Internet Check-in option to other European destinations.

Another 26 European cities will be added to Prague, Paris, and Amsterdam, where this modern and time-saving manner of check-in has been available to passengers since June.

With the Internet Check-in service, passengers can make their seat selection and print up their boarding pass in the comfort of their home or office. Once they arrive at the airport, they need not go to the check-in counter, but may proceed directly to passport and security checks. They can thus arrive at the airport closer to the time of their departure. Passengers can check-in over the Internet in three simple steps, no more than 24 hours and no less than 35 minutes before the scheduled departure.

Internet Check-in with Czech Airlines is available even to passengers travelling with baggage. Upon their arrival at the airport, they leave them at a special "Baggage Drop-off" counter, and then proceed directly to passport and security checks.

The service is designed for all Czech Airlines passengers who have an electronic ticket. Presently, electronic tickets comprise approximately 70 percent of the overall ticket sales of Czech Airlines.

From the beginning of September, the service will be available not only for all departures from Prague, Amsterdam, and Paris, but also from Athens, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin, Bratislava, Budapest, Bucharest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanover, Hamburg, Kosice, London Heathrow and Stansted, Manchester, Marseille, Munich, Riga, Rome, Sofia, Stuttgart, Warsaw, and Zagreb.
